The Packwood Improvement Club is a 501-4c Non-Profit Community Club, that was incorporated in 1950. One of their main functions is to maintain the Community Building, and attached Park. The building is rented to several local organizations, and is available for rent to all Community Organizations, town meetings, weddings, and fund raisers and events by non-profit groups.
We currently host (for free) the Packwood Pre-School, memorials, some youth nights and The Packwood Art Festival.
This is accomplished through several fund raisers, and through the generous donation of hundreds of volunteer hours. The major fund raisers are Friday Night Bingo, Memorial & Labor Day Swap Meets, fireworks sales, our annual Chicken Barbeque, and our annual Dinner .
We are currently attempting to upgrade and remodel the Building, making it a more desirable location for dances, concerts, youth activities, weddings, and all gatherings needing a large location. Annual dues are $10
